Farsscout Industrial Co. had successful Instrument and control revamping of t Oil Production Platforms without shutdown. The most important ones are listed below

› Nasr Oil Platform Instrument and control revamping

The scope of this EPC revamping project was:

● Replacing all valves and instruments.

● Supplying F&G system from Hima ( HIMA, HIQuad ) and supply and replace all smoke, heat, flame, and explosion gas detectors.

● Supplying ESD system from Hima ( HIMA, HIQuad )

● upgrading ESD system from Hima ( HIMA, HIQuad ) on satellite oil well platforms far from the main platform up to 37Km, and transferring the engineering station of those ESD system to main platform by Hirschmann Industrial Wireless LAN

● Supplying ABB Freelance DCS system and cooperation with ABB in supplying Hardware and Software of the system.

● Supplying UPS system for the platform from AEG Power Supplies (SAFT) company

● Revamping instrument air network and supplying the humidity absorption system.

● Supplying Explosion Proof  CCTV equipped with wide lens up to 140° , heating of the lens glass to prevent dew on the glass and AV1300M POE 3 MP camera .

● Supplying cables, cable ladder and tray, revamping the cabling.

● having the erection and  commissioning jobs without stopping oil production and shutdown of the platform

› Ilam Oil Platform Control Systems Upgrading

The scope of this EPC upgrading project was:

● upgrading the ESD and F&G systems from Hima ( HIMA, HIQuad )

● upgrading ESD from Hima ( HIMA, HIQuad ) on satellite oil well platforms far from the main platform up to 8Km, and transferring the engineering station of those ESD system to main platform by Hirschmann Industrial Wireless LAN

● Supplying ABB Freelance DCS system and Upgrading the existing Bailey DCS system cooperation with ABB in supplying Hardware and Software of the system. The controllers and communication modules was replaced with the supplied system

● Supplying Explosion Proof  CCTV equipped with wide lens up to 140° , heating of the lens glass to prevent dew on the glass and AV1300M POE 3 MP camera .

● Supplying cables, cable ladder and tray, revamping the cabling.

● Having the erection and commissioning jobs without stopping oil production and shutdown of the platform

› Salman Oil and Gas Platform Control System Upgrading

The scope of this EPC upgrading project was:

● Supplying Symphony Harmony INFI 90 DCS  system from ABB and upgrade the hardware and software of Oil Platform existing Bailey DCS system.

● Providing hardware and software needed to transfer all of the Gas Platform DCS system from Yokogawa to upgraded ABB DCS system on Oil Platform

● Providing unique platform for controlling and operating both Oil Platform and Gas Platform plant from ABB Symphony Harmony INFI 90 DCS System. It made the operation much easier.

● Having all the erection and commissioning jobs without stopping oil production and shutdown of the platform

› Mobarak Platform Revamping

The scope of this EPC revamping project was:

● Troubleshooting ESD, F&G, and DCS system of the platform and bring them back to service and upgrading the hardware and software of the DCS system to DeltaV Distributed Control System

● Providing Flare ignition system for random gas flow to flare with continuous sparking without pilot.

● Supplying communication system and signaling system for Heli-board.

● Supplying Rescue boat and automatic davit-launched system.

● Supplying Nitrogen generating system

● Supplying Breathing Air System.

● Supplying F&G detectors such as smoke, heat, and explosive gas detectors.

● Revamping Fire Fighting Water Ring Piping

● Suppling automatic CO2 Fire Fighting system

● Supplying the humidity absorption system.

● Supplying and commissioning of damaged instruments and Valves.

● Supplying cables, cable ladder and tray, revamping the cabling.

● Supplying First Aid Kits for Platform Operation staffs.
