Fars Scout Industrial Co has executed a number of project in OIL & Gas Refineries, the most important ones are as followed:

1. Procurement, erection and commissioning of control systems in Refineries:

• Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery.

Providing DCS Honeywell system for heat recovery boilers in the refinery power generation plant. This DCS hardware and software were combined to the refinery DCS system and the control loops were implemented in the refinery control system without shutdown.

• Fajr Jam Gas Refinery.

Providing operation control system (PLC) and emergency shutdown ( ESD ) system production Line 1 and 2 of Fajr Jam Gas Refinery. In this system Siemens S7-400F/FH system was provided

For Operation , providing commands, alarm handling, and monitoring the production plant Siemens Software SIMATIC PCS 7  was provided. The project included engineering, procurement, erection, and commissioning.

• Abadan Oil Refinery

Supply of control system for Hydrogen PSA package ordered by Sina Control Company with following details:

− Control system engineering of the package and providing system logic document.  

− Control panel design and panel  assembly with Siemens SIMATIC S7-400 system.

− Package software design and implementation.

− Commissioning assistant.

• Abadan Oil Refinery

Supply of control system for Flare Gas Recovery Plant package ordered by Alie Nam Company with following details:

− Control system engineering of the package and providing system logic document.  

− Control panel design and panel  assembly with ABB AC500 system.

− Package software design and implementation using ABB Automation Builder software package.

− Supply redundant network and redundant operation computers.

− erection and Commissioning.

Supply of instruments for Flare Gas Recovery Plant package ordered by Alie Nam Company with following details:

− 7 Control valves and on off valves with sizes of 3” to 8” , and 2 pressure safety valves supplied from SAMSON company.  

− Pressure and differential pressure transmitters from Siemens Industrial Process Instrumentation .

− pressure switch and gauge from WIKA  company and level gauge from bonetti .

− Ultrasonic flow meter and oxygen analyzer flare input from GE Measurement & Control company.

2- Heavy construction jobs in gas refineries in south pars

Fars Scout Industrial Co. has executed heavy construction jobs in south pars refineries. The following table shows the high quantities of these jobs.

The description of the job executed in these project is listed below:

− Workshop engineering and reporting the difficulties in erection and suggesting the modification, considering the construction happen meanwhile mechanical and civil activities are in progress and subject to some changes.

− Suppling bulk material for construction and supply hot deep galvanized steel structures or industrial painted steel structures for support needed for electrical, instrumentation and control system.

− installation and wiring of instruments

− installation and wiring of fir and gas detectors.

− instrument air piping and tubing of process connections and instrument tubing.  

− installation of conduits and its joints and also installation of cable glands for field instruments.

− installation and wiring of Earth equipment and the earth testing.

− installation junction boxes for electrical, control, and instrumentation and local control station for motors.

− installation, wiring, and test of control system panels and marshalling panels and instrument, control, and electrical packages

− installation, test, and power up of indoor and outdoor process lighting and street lighting, and substation buildings.

− installation, wiring, and test of electrical single phase and three phases in hazardous and safe process area and workshops and substations.

− installation, and test of the electrical heat tracing.

− installation of DCS, ESD, F&G, HIPPS Control cabinets and Operator Stations, testing, and startup of the systems.
